New Pattern – Vintage Football Helmet
This past fall, a friend of mine asked me to make a football helmet for her son. Then she sent me specific pictures of a leather helmet her husband liked to wear for games. This wasn’t going to be as easy as I thought, especially when I could find no such crochet pattern in existence.
I made the hat, copying the original as closely as I could. I was rather pleased with the results and decided right then that this would make a great crochet pattern!
Unfortunately, I’m a little late in it’s release. Super Bowl Sunday was last week…oops. Well, football season will come again, and hopefully there will be football enthusiasts wanting to make these for their friends and family.
This pattern comes in 5 sizes (which is technically 7 sizes due to the way hat sizing works). There are instructions included for 0-3 Months, 3-6 Months, 6-12 Months, 1-3 Years/Child/Adult Small, and Adult Medium.
It has several photographs to help with assembly and is eye-catching in any colors (though of course, using other colors makes it look less like a leather helmet).
Buy your copy today for only $4.95. Visit my Ravelry Store to see other patterns I have available. ♥

That is so awesome! The best patterns are when there is no pattern. Next, a WWII helmet. Cheers!
