Warming the Heart provides crochet lessons as time permits. Right now, new students are being accepted starting in September of 2014. Contact Warming the Heart for more information or to set up a lesson time.
Warming the Heart
Fee: $15 per lesson
Lessons are 1.5 hours each.
Lesson Dates and Times are set up on an individual basis.
Lesson Size Limit: 4 people per session
Materials Needed (not provided by instructor):
- G, H, or I Hook
- Variegated Yarn (Yarn that changes colors – please no yarn with fuzzy fur, or sequins)
- Measuring tape or ruler
- Stitch Markers, Safety Pins, or Bobby Pins
There are lessons available for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Crochet. Hand-outs are given at each lesson with suggested homework for practicing that lesson’s technique(s).
A basic crochet book will be provided by the instructor at the very first lesson that a student attends.
Children and adults are qualified for lessons. Left-handed and right-handed students are welcome.
As each student advances in their crochet knowledge, they can branch out in hook sizes and yarn types. Creativity and experimentation is encouraged.
Note: Lessons are the same price for individuals or groups.
